Privacy Policy and Policy Regarding the Handling of Personal Information

 

With regards to the personal information of shareholders, customers, business partners, employees, and other relevant parties gathered through the course of business, Tohdee Frozen Foods Corporation complies with all laws, ordinances, and other norms related to the protection of personal information including the Thai Personal Data Protection Act BE 2562 (PDPA). We have also voluntarily established our own rules and systems that take into consideration international trends and have formulated the Policy Regarding the Handling of Personal Information outlined below. 1.In order to carry out this commitment, we have formulated internal rules regarding the protection of personal information and we ensure that our employees and other related personnel are properly aware of these rules and that they are implemented, maintained and improved.

2.In order to prevent the loss, damage, falsification, and leakage of personal information, we have formulated an information security management plan and implement appropriate information security measures, including measures for preventing unauthorized access and computer viruses.

3.We obtain personal information through legal and fair means and do not under any circumstances use illicit methods. When obtaining personal information, we either inform the owner of said information beforehand regarding the purposes for which their information will be used, or announce relevant information on the company’s corporate website.

4.When obtaining information indirectly, we check whether the party providing the information has obtained it through appropriate means, using necessary contractual protection. We announce matters such as how this information will be used on the company’s corporate website.

5.We handle requests by the owner of personal information to disclose, amend, stop using, or delete said information in an appropriate manner in accordance with laws and ordinances.

6.When jointly using personal information with third parties or entrusting personal information to third parties in order to delegate work to them, we examine the third party, conclude necessary contracts, and take any other measures required by law.

7.We have formulated the following principle for collecting and gathering specific personal information.

 

Principles Governing the Use of Personal Information

The use of personal information is limited to authorized personnel only in order to carry out specific tasks within the scope of the purpose for which the information was received, to the extent that it is required for carrying out said task.

 

Prohibited Usage

The provision of personal information to third parties is forbidden in principle. Personal information cannot be used for anything other than the intended purposes and cannot be removed from appropriate locations. Tohdee Frozen Foods Corporation employees are not to inform third parties of personal information learned through the course of business without permission, and shall not use said information for unjustifiable purposes.
